Tax Credits Help You Go Green!
In today's economy it's not always easy to come up with the money necessary to replace or upgrade your heating and cooling systems. Help is now available through the 2009 Economics Stimulus Package. Homeowners who install a geothermal heat pump system are eligible for tax credit in the amount of 30% of the installed cost. Also, homeowners who install pumps will receive 30% tax credit up to $1,500. Dan Poston, is a third generation owner of Poston Brothers Heating and Cooling. He began working in the family business in 1973. Dan is a life long resident of Burlington Ky., where he and his wife of 39 years, Susan have raised their three children. Dan, enjoys spending time with his 5 grandchildren, as well working in his wood shop, and rebuilding antique tractors. Dan is proud of the relationships he has developed over the years, and looks foward to working with new families as our community continues to grow. The Ludlow Indepentent School District was founded in 1867 with the election of the first Board of Education. The first graduating class of Ludlow High School was in 1886. Ludlow Elementary School was founded in 1864 and later became Mary A. Goetz Elementary School in the early 1940's. Ludlow Schools always have had a proud academic heritage. Today, the rich academic heritage continues to be the focus and driving force behind the programs of the entire school district. Ludlow High School was named by U.S.News and World Reports as one of America's Best High Schools in 2009. In addition, the academic performance on ACT assessment administered for all juniorsin the Commonwealth rated Ludlow High School as one of the top five schools in our Northern Kentucky Region. Also, Ludlow High School rated as one of the top 20 schools in our state. Moreover, the entire school district received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 2009. Only three other Northern Ky. School Districts have achieved this important achievement. Ludlow is known for the caring and supportive staff for each student.
